       <a class="link" href="http://www.daumas-gassac.com/">Mas de Daumas Gassac</a> <span class="fluo_jaune">: a very old vineyard</span>       <br />
       A Charlemagne's advisor, St Benedicte of Aniane creates a vineyard in the Gassac valley from the years 780. Like most famous great wines, Daumas Gassac wines were born at the foot of an abbay, that of St Guilhem Le Desert.       <br />
              <br />
              <br />
       In 1970, <b>Véronique and Aimé Guibert</b> bought from the Daumas family an old abandoned farmhouse in the heart of a wild valley with a river running, the Gassac. Two years later, they planted their first vines of not-cloned Cabernet Sauvignon.       <br />
              <br />
              <br />
       The first vintage of <b>Daumas Gassac</b> red wine was issued in 1978. It only took 4 years to get a first recognition from the Gault &amp; Millau Guide, referring to <b>Mas de Daumas Gassac</b> as <span style="font-style:italic">&quot;a Château Lafite in Languedoc&quot;</span>.       <br />
              <br />
              <br />
       The first <b>Daumas Gassac</b> white wine was made in 1986.       <br />
              <br />
              <br />
       Opposed tu pulling out the old vines, the Guibert family reached an agreement with the wineries in Villeveyrac and Paulhan, with very precise specifications to produce high quality Languedoc wines. <b>Moulin de Gassac</b> wines were launched in 1991.       <br />
              <br />
              <br />
       <span class="fluo_jaune">An exceptionnal soil, small vineyards in clearings and not-cloned vines</span>       <br />
       <b>Mas de Daumas Gassac</b> is a deep, well drained and humus-poor soil, but rich in mineral oxides. There are more than 50 small vineyards in clearings surrounded by a Mediterranean forest, with shrubs giving the wines their rich aroma. Finally, there are not-cloned old vines, with low yields but a beautiful sensory richness.        <br />

       <a class="link" href="http://www.daumas-gassac.com/">Mas de Daumas Gassac</a> : <span class="fluo_jaune">un très ancien vignoble</span>       <br />
              <br />
       Conseiller de Charlemagne, Saint-Benoît d'Aniane crée le vignoble de la vallée du Gassac à partir des années 780. Comme la plupart des grands crus célèbres, les vins de <b>Daumas Gassac </b>sont nés au pied d'une abbaye, celle de St Guilhem le Désert.       <br />
              <br />
       En 1970, <b>Véronique et Aimé Guibert</b> achètent à la famille Daumas un vieux mas abandonné, au coeur d'une vallée sauvage où coule une rivière, le Gassac. Deux ans plus tard, ils plantent des pieds de vigne non clonés de Cabernet Sauvignon.       <br />

       Le premier millésime de <b>Daumas Gassac</b> rouge est produit en 1978. Il ne faudra que 4 ans pour obtenir une première reconnaissance par Gault &amp; Millau, qui présente <b>Daumas Gasac</b> comme <span style="font-style:italic">&quot;un Château Lafite du Langedoc&quot;</span>.       <br />

       La première vinification de <b>Daumas Gassac </b>blanc est faite en 1986.       <br />
              <br />
              <br />
       Opposée à l'arrachage des vieilles vignes, <b>la famille Guibert</b> passe un accord avec les vignerons des caves de Villeveyrac puis de Paulhan, avec un cahier des charges précis pour élaborer des vins languedociens de qualité. De là naissent en 1991 les vins du <b>Moulin de Gassac</b>.       <br />

       <span class="fluo_jaune">Un terroir exceptionnel, des vignes en clairières et des cépages non clonés</span>       <br />
       <a class="link" href="http://www.daumas-gassac.com/">Mas de Daumas Gassac</a>, c'est un terroir fait d'un sol profond, parfaitement drainé, pauvre en humus et matières végétales, mais riche en oxydes minéraux. Ce sont plus de 50 petites vignes en clairières entourées d'une forêt méditerranéenne, dont les arbustes donnent aux vins leur richesse aromatique. Ce sont enfin des anciens cépages non clonés, avec de faibles rendements mais une belle richesse organoleptique.       <br />
